Cafe Veloce has been the host restaurant for the Spring Fling, returning 3 Flags riders and various other events for LD riders in the Northwest for the last 4 years and has proven to be a favorite among riders and spouses.

The fine Italian cuisine is served in near picture perfect arrangement and the combination of ingredients offer a unique taste unlike the normal fare. The chefs prepare the servings with eye to details and the taste that make this a truly northwest treasure.

Opened in 1983 by Todd Fell as a twin to his other fine restaurant in Mexico, Todd decided to concentrate his attention to Mexico and offered the Kirkland site for sale. The restaurant languished a little during a two year period until Liz Caluori came on the scene and purchased it in January of 2000 and quickly brought Veloce back to it’s original form. She brought original chefs back to train the current staff and expanded the menu to include previously discontinued items while retaining the unique flavor of the sauces

The menu is comprehensive and includes various salads, pasta and pizza, each a delight.

The decor of the open space is well sprinkled with pictures of nostalgic races and famous riders and two monitors run tapes of bike races all under the watchful eye of 5 restored European vintage bikes. Stop by while in the Seattle/Bellevue/Kirkland area and see if you agree.
